Virtualtravelguides is a dynamic content supplier for international e-commerce companies. We specialise in mass content for worldwide destinations, focusing on online media. Our company is entirely virtual, and everyone works from home. Since starting out in 2003, we have grown to include more than 20 Asia-based freelance writers, turning out up-to 1,000 pages of travel information each month.

VACANCY: WEB EDITOR (TRAVEL)

Join our busy team of web travel guide writers as an editor, writer and project supervisor. Work from home, flexible hours, 400 baht p/h, full or part time (minimum 15 hours per week).

Ideally we are looking for an individual with many of the following;

  1. Editorial experience/knowledge and proof reading skill
  2. Well travelled, with some experience in travel guide writing
  3. Fairly young and flexible, with a good understanding of web publishing/internet
  4. Professional attitude, and committed work ethic, likely to stay for a year minimum
  5. Willing to manage projects and deal with writers submitting work
  6. Suitable to contribute to the writing themselves
  7. Some basic understanding of search engine optimisation principles.
