Virtualtravelguides is a dynamic content supplier for international e-commerce companies. We specialise in mass content for worldwide destinations, focusing on online media. Our company is entirely virtual, and everyone works from home. Since starting out in 2003, we have grown to include more than 40 Asia-based freelance writers, turning out about 5,000 pages of travel information each month. Although our work does not include travelling unfortunately, we get to travel virtually and earn good money writing about it.

Freelance content writers (travel)
Full or part-time
Skilled and experienced content writers are always needed to join our busy team. Working from home, you will receive a consistent supply of production-styled work, writing content for travel sites.
Skills set required;
- Fluent English with impeccable grammar and good research ability
- Previous experience in writing travel content, or similar
- Well travelled, and well travelled on the web
- Professional work ethic, committed to deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure to turn out quick content
- Disciplined at following the brief for web styled writing
- Available consistently for minimum 15 hours a week
- Committed to full year of service
Note! This type of writing differs from traditional magazine feature writing or news journalism. Your ability to adapt from these to a high turnover, production-line, output will provide you with a reliable, if uninspiring, base income.
Rates: average 350 baht per hour ($12/£7), paid every 5th of the month.
